CAD Designer Intro
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team, specializing in the design and integration support of powertrain systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and improving components and assemblies in accordance with engineering standards. Your work will be essential in supporting the overall vehicle design process.
Job Details
- Prepare design layouts, diagrams, bills of material, and drawings / schematics of components and assemblies with supporting calculations, such as weight and tolerancing.
- Create and revise drawings and perform other engineering-related tasks, including analysis, bills of material creation, manufacturing support, layout work, and supplier contact.
- Design vehicle components to meet customer requirements while enforcing proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards.
- Ensure technical issues are resolved within the framework of company policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues.
- Select parts and / or design components for compliant and cost / quality-conscious design.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support.
- Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner, consistent with the company's mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures.
