On behalf of our Finance client, Procom is searching for an SVP Regulatory Reporting for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Tampa, FL office.
Regulatory Reporting - Job Description:
This role involves covering for a manager on leave, with responsibilities in the Controllers Organization. The SVP Regulatory Reporting will support the preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies, ensuring compliance with U.S. and local regulatory reporting rules. The role offers high visibility within the organization and involves collaboration with multiple departments.
Regulatory Reporting - Responsibilities:
• Lead the review and challenge of transaction testing exceptions identified by audit and risk teams.
• Perform assessments of data and control issues impacting U.S. Bank Regulatory Reports.
• Support the production, review, and submission of regulatory filings and reports to U.S. regulators.
• Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues.
• Manage process improvement efforts for regulatory reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Support regulatory inquiries and examinations with accurate information and analysis.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide updates on regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with Risk & Controls team to maintain an effective internal control structure.
Regulatory Reporting - Mandatory Skills:
• 10 years of experience in financial services and regulatory reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports and Basel III capital regulations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to plan and execute breakthrough strategies.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Regulatory Reporting – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with GAAP/SEC Reporting.
• Exposure to stress testing frameworks like CCAR.
• Ability to synthesize complex concepts and influence change.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
