Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with deep industry knowledge in fabrics, textiles, or ingredient brands. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success, a robust network of industry contacts, and the ability to independently identify and drive strategic opportunities. This role is critical to our growth strategy, and you will have the chance to make a significant impact by expanding our footprint in the U.S. and globally.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Strategic Growth: Lead efforts to identify, engage, and secure partnerships with well- aligned brands and businesses, focusing on opportunities that enhance our margins and align with our value proposition.
- Manage and Grow Key Accounts: Build and maintain strong relationships with current partners, driving account growth through strategic planning and exceptional service.
- Leverage Your Network: Utilize your extensive connections in the fabric or ingredient brand industries to open doors and foster new relationships.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and deliver value-driven solutions to clients.
- Represent Coolcore: Be the face of our company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, driving pre-show meetings and creating impactful in-person experiences.
- Analyze and Refine Strategies: Monitor performance metrics, assess ROI, and adapt approaches to ensure sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: 5 years of business development experience in fabrics, textiles, or ingredient brands, with a demonstrable book of business and industry network.
- Proven Success: A track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully closing complex deals.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to identify and evaluate opportunities, aligning them with Coolcore's long-term goals.
- Independent Drive: Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and long-lasting partnerships.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a dynamic industry, with a willingness to learn and grow alongside our team.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM systems is a strong plus.
- Thermal Fabric Focus: Experience with or a strong understanding of thermal-regulating fabrics and their applications is highly desirable.
