Production Crew Lead:
- Day Shift
- Current Schedule / Training Schedule: M-TH 6AM - 4P (10-Hour Shifts)
- Planned / Anticipated Schedule: 6AM-6PM 2/2/3 schedule (2 on, 3 off, 2on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off)
JOB SUMMARY
Assists in running the machine and provide basic adjustments to the machinery and product as needed. Has knowledge of all types of product/paper that runs on the line. Sets up and operates the machinery to uphold quality per customer specifications, in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Responsible for the quality of the product and does quality inspection check. Follows all safety procedures, understands all safety equipment and ensures line staff adheres to the company safety policies and procedures. Also maintains the machinery to include general maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Performs machine set up to ensure the quality and efficiency of material being processed and ensures the continual operation of the line and machinery.
2. Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to meet production deadlines.
3. Must have ability to utilize EPICOR and other systems to ensure accurate production, inventory, flags, and labels.
4. Acts as the first line of defense against quality control-detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions.
5. Follows Standard Operating Procedures and reports any problems with the beginning or ending product. Makes any necessary adjustments to correct the situation.
6. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows the prescribed safety regulations.
7. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
8. Provides back-up supervisory responsibilities when assigned by the Shift or Department Supervisor in the event they are not available.
9. Acts as the go to person when problems arise (employee, safety, mechanical). If unable to make decision will follow chain of command for additional support.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
