- Virtualization
- System maintenance systems administration.
- Networking VLAN.
- Network security.
- Network device configuration.
- Windows operating systems, windows active directory.
- Industrial oil and gas.
- Capable of building virtual machines.
- Knowing how to replace and build a workstation or application station.
- Capable of working on or implementing a version upgrade.
- Troubleshooting experience and experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and affiliated networking systems.
- Setup, installation, startup, commissioning as well as post startup support.
- A general knowledge of industrial electrical and wiring practices is beneficial.
- Develop / cultivate a relationship with your service contract customers to become a trust advisor.
- Sales and proposal support - account management with pre/post engineering sales
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preventative Maintenance – Perform periodic reviews of the systems for Proconex service contract customers.
- Demand Services – 1-2 year assignment. Work scope will vary from system setup / build, upfront project activities, surveys, or small control / graphic modifications.
- DeltaV Version Upgrades – Support the execution of the version upgrade of the DeltaV system. This support includes development of the migration plan, migration of the DeltaV database and graphics, buildout of the DeltaV system and onsite support. System platform could be physical machines or virtual machines (VRTX, VMware).
- Project Services – Includes supporting the project teams in buildout of computers per design specifications, supporting customer factory acceptance testing, performing system installations, supporting site acceptances testing and supporting loop checkout, commissioning and startup.
- Emergency Support via telephone, internet, and on-site at customer locations.
- Associates degree or trade school combined or relevant experience.
- Troubleshooting experience and a good working knowledge of computer system upgrades of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interface with customers, Proconex internal groups and Proconex management
