Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that appliances are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Assemble and install new appliances as required.
- Operate a box truck for the delivery of appliances and parts to customer locations.
- Provide field service support by traveling to customer sites for repairs and maintenance.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot appliance issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and customer interactions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in appliance repair, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to appliance functionality.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required for operating the box truck.
