Job Summary:
ProCore Building Maintenance & Construction is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general contracting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining systems in both residential and commercial properties while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plumbing: Diagnose and repair leaks, install and maintain fixtures, troubleshoot water heaters, and handle basic to advanced plumbing tasks.
- Electrical: Troubleshoot electrical issues, install outlets, switches, panels, and lighting fixtures, and ensure code compliance.
- HVAC: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC systems, and conduct repairs or replacements as needed.
- General Contracting: Handle drywall repairs, painting, flooring, door installations, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Diagnostic & Documentation: Assess issues thoroughly, document findings, provide detailed job notes, and ensure all work orders are accurately completed.
- Customer Communication: Contact customers 30 minutes prior to arrival, provide job updates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Time Tracking & Reporting: Clock in/out as required, document hours accurately, and submit necessary paperwork for each job.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow company policies, industry safety guidelines, and obtain necessary customer signatures before and after work is completed.
- Estimates & Quotes: Provide accurate estimates for repairs and projects, including material and labor costs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general contracting.
- Licensing/Certifications: HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications preferred but not required.
- Tools: Must have own hand tools and diagnostic equipment (company provides specialty tools).
- Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear job notes, document diagnostics, and provide detailed reports.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various conditions, and perform manual labor.
- Reliability: Punctual, professional, and committed to high-quality work.
- Appearance: Clean-cut, professional appearance with no visible tattoos preferred.
- Travel: Willing to travel within service areas as needed.
