Job Details
MUST HAVE:
The manager wants someone very technical coming from a development background ideally Java
He does not want someone that grew up in DevOps
Architecture experience required
Required - EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC networking and IAM
- Requirements
- Strong AWS expertise, particularly in EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC networking and IAM.
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
- Understanding of ingress and egress traffic flow, AWS security groups, and service discovery.
- Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Envoy) and patterns like sidecar architecture.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and best practices
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying Node.js (or) Java based applications
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and observability.
- Understanding of API design, security, and workload isolation in distributed systems.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with multi-cloud strategies (Google Cloud Platform, on-perm to cloud migration).
- Knowledge on serverless architectures beyond AWS lambda
