Scala developer who has Kafka background as well as the knowledge of containerizing code and perform end point deployments. ETL background valuable but not necessary
Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented Scala Developer who has experience working with Apache Kafka and is skilled in containerizing code for seamless end-point deployments. While experience in ETL is valuable, it is not a requirement. This role will involve developing high-performance, scalable applications, utilizing Kafka for event-driven architectures, and deploying containerized applications effectively.
Job Description:
- Hands on Scala developer either with Kafka or Kinesis. Need experience in NO SQL database
- Senior developer who can code
- Role would be hands on coding
- Java/Redis/Kafka experience preferred. Scala experience (in programming context not in big data) desired.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Code high scale application using Kinesis or Kafka either with Dynamo or Cassandra or NO SQL
Key Responsibilities:
- Scala Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Scala code to support backend services.
- Kafka Integration: Develop and manage Kafka-based solutions, including configuring producers, consumers, and handling stream processing.
- Containerization: Use tools like Docker to containerize applications for consistent environments across development, testing, and production.
- Deployment: Handle end-to-end deployment of containerized applications to various environments (cloud or on-premises).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5 years of experience in Scala development and working with Kafka in production environments.
