Title: Data Engineer
Location: New York
The candidate must be able to demonstrate solid Scala or Java plus ETL batching and data modelling experience dealing with data warehouse volume data.
Skills Required:
- 5 years of experience in Database & ETL development (ETL/SQL/Data Modelling). Familiar with best practice on development.
- Python (or similar language) experience required
- Java (or Scala) programing language is required
- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Experience working on large and medium scale projects in an agile environment.
Skills Desired:
- Experience with Snowflake, Azure cloud is preferred.
- High interest in Finance business & data analysis required.
- Eager to work with new technologies and apply them towards enterprise-level data solutions
