Position Type: 12 Month Contract (Hybrid - TWT)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager III to lead fiber communication projects, specifically focusing on router and switching systems for engineering access at substation sites. The role involves managing multiple project sites, collaborating with field engineers, and coordinating with external contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits to substation locations for project assessment and management.
Oversee fiber communication projects, ensuring effective implementation of router and switching systems.
Manage multiple project sites, maintaining adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Collaborate closely with field engineers to align on project scopes and technical requirements.
Interface with external contractors to facilitate project execution and resolve issues.
Utilize PRIMAVERA P6 and Smart Sheet for project scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
Maintain documentation and ticketing using ServiceNow for project-related requests and updates.
Prepare and analyze project data using standard spreadsheet applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
8 to 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in power engineering or telecommunications.
Proficiency in PRIMAVERA P6, with experience in transmission and outside plant (OSP) projects.
Strong knowledge of networking, fiber communication systems, and project scoping.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
Strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with engineers and contractors.
Familiarity with Smart Sheet and standard spreadsheet applications for project data management.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60.00 per week
