Starting pay is $26.56 plus $0.50 shift adder on day shift, $2.00 on night shift, or $2.50 if rotating.

Operations Schedule : This site operates continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Scope of Work :

Mechanically skilled technicians perform various types of work, such as :

Work Hours :

Able to work 12-hour shifts, schedule options vary including a 2-2-3 bi-weekly rotation schedule, straight days, straight nights. Shifts are assigned depending on business need. We cannot guarantee your preference of shift is what you will be assigned.

Flexibility : Technicians may work rotating shifts.

Overtime : Overtime may be required on weekends and / or holidays.

Mechanically skilled technicians are being hired as skilled members of our warehouse operations teams. Mechanically skilled technicians are responsible for reducing equipment downtime, troubleshooting mechanical and systematic issues, eliminating defects, and building technical mastery. They focus on initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, with the highest quality, on time every time, and in a safe environment. They have mechanical technical mastery in order to successfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems. Mechanically skilled technicians have the opportunity to become equipment area owners. This could involve creating processes and designs to improve their areas performance.

Job Qualifications

Requirements to Apply :

Successful completion of a Technical Interview will be required as part of the application process. Upon hire, you will be expected to remain in the ALPS department for at least 18 months before being eligible for roles in alternate departments.
