As a BI Software Engineer who will be tasked to:
- Solve regulatory, safety, and environmental data-centered challenges via design, implementation, and maintenance of our internal BI solutions and their integration with other data sources.
- Work closely with data engineers and scientists to design and implement solutions tailored for P&G’s Global Product Stewardship.
- Set up and manage BI environments, UI/UX, UATs, testing data accuracy, and setting up cloud resources.
- Upskill the organizational digital capabilities by identifying process simplification opportunities and conduct trainings.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar degree.
- High proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience in data visualization techniques and tools, including developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Experience in GitHub and collaborative coding environments.
- A firm understanding of relational databases. Familiarity with database technologies, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Ability to utilize data pipelines, and data systems to support data analysis and machine learning workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with server-side web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Rails).
- Familiarity with Databricks.
- Understanding of basic level Chemistry and Biology.
