What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids' Zone Summer Aide - Bay View and Pike Lake position at Proctor/Hermantown Community Education?
Proctor Schools' Kids’ Zone Program has openings for Kids’ Zone Aides up to 40 hours per week for the 2025 Summer Program (June 9th - August 15th) out of Bay View and Pike Lake. Ages 16 are welcome to apply.
A current Minnesota Criminal Background Check if over the age of 18.
Job Description:
Kids’ Zone Aides Bay View & Pike Lake Elementary Schools:
- Assist the site manager with setting goals and program implementation
- Work directly with and supervise students in planned activities
- Help to teach and encourage appropriate social skills
- Assist the site manager in discipline policies and procedures
- Set a good example in attitude, actions, and speech for children
- Maintains an organized and neat environment by cleaning and storing supplies appropriately
- Set up games, supplies, and activities for children
- Assist the site manager in student safety and well-being
- Promote good parent communication
- Communicates with the site manager about issues regarding parents, students or other staff
