Position Summary
Under general direction, the Associate Account Manager is responsible for claim phone support which includes incoming and outgoing calls and assisting the Account Manager role with projects and daily tasks. The AAM must be able to communicate professionally with good phone etiquette/skills. The AAM must have good organizational and time management skills.
Essential Duties and Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Position Summary

- Claim intake via phone and status support
- Provide response to all incoming telephone queries received from customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to multitask between various software programs.
- Data entry.
- Client invoicing.
- Refund processing.
- Administrative support for team – scanning, check logging, report distribution etc.
- Good communication and proficient phone skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to think analytically.
- Ability to adapt well to changing environment.
- Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
- Interpersonal skills—the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
- Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.

Required
- High school diploma/GED
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Proficient with MS Office
- Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PLP standards
- Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Insurance or mortgage industry background
- Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse, and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
- Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
- Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
- Sedentary work. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
- Repetitive motion
