  • Summary :

    Proctor Loan Protector is hiring a summer Recruiting Intern to support our Talent Acquisition Team. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the recruitment process and contribute to our talent acquisition efforts.

    Interns will be supervised by and perform requested tasks alongside Team Leaders and professionals for the function. Interns will have opportunities to gain functional knowledge, enhance business acumen, and gain role and industry insights.

    Tell me more about this role, what would I be doing?

  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms
  • Review resumes and conduct initial screenings of candidates
  • Source candidates on Linked-In and Indeed, send reach outs, learn how to construct boolean search strings to find talent
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Assist in new hire paperwork, drug tests, prehire admin
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases
  • Assist in organizing recruitment events and job fairs
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed
  • Education, Experience, and Knowledge Required :

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university degree-granting program
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis :

  • Ability to perform 70% sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and exert negligible force frequently; may be asked to exert up to 20 pounds of force periodically, as needed.
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone constantly, 7-8 hours per day.
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for phone and in-person communication.
  • Physical efforts include repetitive small motor activity, grasping, verbally communicating detailed and important information to others quickly and accurately, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting light objects less than 10 pounds frequently, and climbing occasionally.
