Title : Media Center Clerk - Secondary Site
Salary Range : Pay Grade 13, Local 66 Contract
Term : 32.5 hours / week - 182 days
Reports to : High School / Middle School Principal
Job Summary : The Media Center Clerk at Proctor High School / Jedlicka Middle School plays a crucial role in supporting both the efficient functioning of the school's media center and assisting teachers in the educational process. The position involves a balance between administrative tasks within the media center and providing assistance in the library environment. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can multitask effectively while fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications :
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and software
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, and the community
- Ability to independently supervise students within the media center setting
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be "highly qualified" (2-year postsecondary certification, Paraprofessional Portfolio or must have passed the Paraprofessional Test).

Compensation : Pay Grade 13
Schedule : 32.5 hrs / wk - 182 days per academic year (8 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
