Job Overview
Proctors, Inc. is in need of a local Test Proctor in the Ispeming area area to administer computer based certification exams for small groups of adults on an as needed basis. The first exam is April 18th @ 12 PM which pays 120.00 The online paid training will take place on March 17th @ 11 PM to 3 PM which pays 80 dollars (paid the day of class).
Proctors, Inc. will pay for the certification process, and training is (also paid)
The certification class is a four hour online commitment that is done via ZOOM.
Once certified, Proctors, Inc. will reach out to you directly to schedule testing sessions held at local colleges, business, and academic institutions as we receive them. All materials for each exam are provided on site including computers. On-site support is available during the exam. Compensation 120 for 4 1/2 hour testing session is provided on the day of the exam, before you leave the site. Most exams are scheduled on a M-F 9-5 timeframe.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise students during exams and testing sessions in a classroom setting
- Ensure a secure and fair testing environment for all students
- Follow established protocols and procedures for test administration
- Enter provided codes and initiate exams on candidates computers
- Provide assistance to students as needed, such as answering questions or clarifying instructions
- Maintain accurate records of test attendance and any incidents that occur during testing
Skills:
- Experience working with students, preferably in an educational or classroom setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with adult education principles and practices is a plus
