ProCure Health – Mobile Wound Nurse Practitioner (1099 Contract Position)

We're actively seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Wound Management or a related field. Join our mobile practice, delivering specialized care at facilities and patient homes.
Qualifications:
o Valid RN & NP License in the State of MS
o Credentialed with Medicare
o Minimum 3 years of Wound Management Experience or Related Field
o Proficient in Wound Management Principles, techniques, and best practices
o Experience working with diverse populations
o Familiarity with medical record systems and documentation requirements
o Demonstrate proficiency in technology usage, including mobile devices, applications, and camera functionalities.
Responsibilities:
o Deliver specialized wound care treatment and management in various settings
o Assess and meticulously document patients' wounds, capturing characteristics, measurements, and progress
o Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patient needs
o Administer appropriate wound care treatments, encompassing dressings, debridement, and topical medications
o Monitor and manage wound healing progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary
o Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care
o Educate patients and families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records related to wound care treatments
o Order and interpret lab and diagnostic testing
o Follow up on patients to assess the effectiveness of weekly amnion membrane treatments
Training:
o Customized training provided for the right individual
Compensation:
o Payment structured per encounter; 1099 Contract Position
Requirements:
o Demonstrate strong adaptability in a growing practice
o Showcase excellent teamwork skills
o Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance; local travel is required
o Mental and physical abilities are sufficient for the proper performance of the role.
