Product Manager Fulfillment Systems

JOB MANDATE

The Product Manager Fulfillment Systems will deliver tangible growth products to our company in every stage of our product life cycle through the relentless pursuit of great software experiences while considering operating advantage and positive community impact.

Our systems are primarily packaged software but require a high degree of configuration and / or customization to meet business partners needs and therefore require collaboration in the full ideation and development of our capabilities in the Inbound Logistics Distribution Operations Engineering Trade and Outbound Logistics space.

Work with product fulfillment systems counterparts project leaders and operational leaders to understand upcoming capabilities and help to scope out the customer experience. Collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the endtoend implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful. Support in writing robust requirements prioritize the backlog and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software.

INPUTS

Business capabilities to support company vision from key crossfunctional partners : Inbound Logistics Distribution Operations Engineering Trade Outbound Logistics Retail Operations Digital and MP&A

High level road map with prioritization of Fulfillment systems work within respective product teams from Inbound Logistics Distribution Operations Engineering Trade and Outbound Logistics that scales the Fulfillment network to meet service cost and throughput objectives managed by the Manager Product Fulfillment Systems

Partnership with the Fulfillment Technology team to ensure accurate execution and availability of all technology tools to support our Fulfillment teams (i.e. GTN WMS LMS Envision Anaplan TMS)

OUTPUTS

Documents the product needs user needs pain points user impact and desired outcomes for features clearly and succinctly to different audiences and crossfunctional partners to deliver solutions that enable the Fulfillment roadmap

Communicates dependencies with other strategic initiative uses the product roadmap to analyze the scope of work across the fulfillment teams and supports with impact analysis

Delivers clearly documented requirements for each initiative on the product roadmap supports prioritization of new intake requests and supports with setting the prioritization of the backlog for technology sprint planning based on the product roadmap

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports in maintaining and prioritizing a backlog of work items for multiple systems and capabilities to support the Fulfillment Product strategy through working with the Product team to plan sprints (short term view) and managing backlog (long term view)

Supports to document drive user stories and acceptance criteria to completion across functions based on MVP alignment

Partners with the Technology scrum teams to support in the delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope

Partners with the Product Analyst(s) to support in the delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope

Influence and supports aligning on a defined minimum viable product (MVP) by setting priority delivery schedule and influencing / managing expectations

Develops specialized knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process tool and methodology improvements

APPROVALS

Works closely with Product Fulfillment Systems peers ensuring requirements are documented consistently technology prioritization aligns with the product roadmap and timelines are being communicated to Global Fulfillment peers

SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

Coordinates and prioritizes work for Scrum teams based on the fulfillment systems roadmap

Provides input from experience with complex scope to support business transformation

Advises on capabilities through analyzing emerging business trends and determining gaps in current product to enhance user and guest experience

Provides status reports and Steering Committee updates for the product roadmap of the fulfillment systems

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Bachelors degree in Business Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline; Masters degree preferred in equivalent field of study; Product Management certification preferred

Experience 25 years minimum of relevant experience with Supply Chain operations; 3 year minimum of relevant experience with Product Management

Skills Strong MS Excel MS Word MS PowerPoint and MS Access experience; Proficient in SQL preferred; Detailoriented; Strong multitasking ability; Strong communications skills with other internal team members including ability to build relationships with key business partner and other stakeholders; Ability to work and deliver in changing environments under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets; Well organized and structured meeting all timelines as agreed
