What are the responsibilities and job description for the Java Architect position at Procyon TS?
Java Architect (Spring Batch)
- Java expert with good knowledge of Java Spring Framework, DevOps (CI / CD), Spring Batch. Prior experience with Spring Batch is a must.
- Able to design templates / architecture of Java application (mainly batch jobs) which would replace mainframe-based application. Should guide the team to precisely use the templates and standards per Spring Batch framework for development.
- Advice team on handling technical (design related) challenges to meet deliverables and requirements created from analysis of mainframe jobs.
- Able to work in Agile environment, familiar with story effort estimations / prioritization to advice the team from time to time.
- Good communicator - should be independently work with client / customers / other teams to get clarification of functional requirements to design solution.
- Knowledge of Telecom domain and modernization projects to migrate Mainframe applications to Java is added advantage.
