CNC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A Fabrication Tech - General operates manual equipment to fabricate quality precision metal or other material parts. Individual study drawings and blueprints to determine the machine and process required to fabricate metal parts for custom parts.
Education
Technician-engineer in electromechanics, machines and tools or mechanics.
Experience
(2) two years of related experience
Bilingual: Spanish and English. Level A1 /
Duties and responsibilities
1. Plans machining of parts by studying blueprints from engineering departments material to be used and interpreting geometrics dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
2. Operates one or more of the following common machine shop equipment for making parts: hand machines, surface grinder, welding (Mig, Tig), CNC mills and lathes, CNC routers, CNC waterjet, EDM equipment)
3. Select the right equipment, make machine configurations for a given task.
4. Monitor production
5. Check the accuracy of the work and check the settings, adhere to the specifications in the drawings.
6. Use measuring meters and instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
7. Maintains a safe and clean working environment including machinery and equipment.
8. It ensures that the equipment operates safely with all safety measures in place.
9. Detects malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, requesting repairs, sharpens and replaces worn tools.
10. Attend the training that the company requires.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
