Job Description
The Senior Product Manager-Hardware at ProdataKey (PDK) is fanatical about customers and is responsible for defining, coordinating, and executing the roadmap for PDK's expanding portfolio of access control hardware solutions. PDK offers partners a range of IP-based, cloud-connected products, including door controllers, readers, wireless locks, sensors, I / O interfaces, and more.
In this role, the Product Manager will direct and oversee products in PDK's hardware product line, working primarily with third-party manufacturers as well as with internal engineering teams to develop innovative, high-quality access control devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the security industry and will drive the creation of reliable, easy-to-install hardware solutions that seamlessly integrate with PDK's ecosystem. The Product Manager will define product requirements, create business plans, collaborate with design and engineering teams, prioritize development efforts, and guide projects from early-stage ideation through production and launch.
This position requires someone who can articulate a long-term vision while actively participating in the day-to-day execution to turn that vision into reality. It is a high-visibility role within the company and involves building effective working relationships with third-party manufacturing partners and internal departments, including engineering, sales, operations, marketing, and customer support.
