Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teachers Assistant to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where children feel valued and respected.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress in areas such as social skills, language development, and motor skills.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and caregiving techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards.
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Skills in classroom management, behavior management, and toddler care are essential.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
