When it comes to our team, here at Prodigy Academy we are committed to giving everyone a platform to display their talents, share their ideas, and further their careers in Early Childhood & Primary Education . We are brand new school looking for educators for all of our programs (Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool, Preschool, Early Kindergarten (VPK), and Kindergarten)

Compensation: $15-$21 (Based on Experience and Credentials)

As One of Our Premier Educators You Will:

• Be responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Use your passion for learning to implement our child-emergent curriculum and have the unique opportunity to understand our interdisciplinary approach to learning which incorporates the philosophies of Piaget, Maria Montessori, Lev Vygotsky , and Waldorf.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest experiences and milestones through a variety of our Prodigy Elements, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• Have 1 year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required).
• Working Towards or completed 45 DCF Hours (required)
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).
• Bachelors Degree in Education or Related Felid (Required for Kindergarten)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wesley Chapel, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• 40 DCF Hours (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
