Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging educational activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working in a preschool setting or with young children is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and early childhood education best practices.
- Familiarity with special education principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to various learning styles.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required at the time of hire; training will be provided as needed.
