What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater position at Prodigy Learning Center?
Prodigy Learning Center is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and qualified individual for the role of floater. The successful applicant should have a knowledge on and experience in working with young children in an educational environment in the capacity of a floater. The floater will support the children under their instruction by properly implementing the PLC curriculum while working to nurture and foster each child's creativity, language, literacy and educational skills.
The floater must meet the basic requirements of the local child care regulatory agency. Ability to relate positively with young children. Responsible for implementing PLC's educational curriculum while supporting the learning development of each child under their instruction. The floater will foster positive teacher-student relationships with children under their instruction in addition to nurturing partnerships with parents, colleagues, staff, and the community. Must be reliable and flexible regarding time and scheduling. Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, child care center or church nursery is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: $11.00 to $13.00 /hour (based on experience)
