Child Care Floater/Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, fun Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn and grow.

Responsibilities as an assistant:
- Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Provide basic care and ensure the well-being of all children in the facility
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a structured daily schedule
- Monitor and assist with behavior management techniques
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress

Responsibilities as a Floater:
- Provide basic care and ensure the well-being of everyone in the facility
- Manage and maintain a structured daily schedule of cleaning
- Go behind classrooms helping them clean-up messes from daily activities

- Set up the Nap Room
- Ensure supplies are stocked
- Cover teacher lunch breaks and bathroom breaks

Skills
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Familiarity with first aid procedures for children
- Understanding of special education needs is a plus
- Proficiency in child care techniques
- Prior experience in preschool or daycare settings is helpful
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

MUST be able to pass a National Background Check

MUST have a High School Diploma or GED

MUST be at least 18 year or older

MUST like kids

MUST be able to change a diaper if needed

Shifts are typically 9:00am-3:00pm weekdays but can vary. We are flexible with Floater hours. Please reach out to us with your availability!

Experiences is helpful, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
