We’re looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the consolidation of three manufacturing and distribution facilities into a single, optimized location. Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth facility consolidation.
• Identify key dependencies and critical paths to mitigate potential delays.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to align objectives and maintain project momentum.
Vendor & Risk Management
• Source and evaluate vendors for construction, IT, and manufacturing equipment relocations.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance, ensuring adherence to project goals and compliance requirements.
• Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Support permitting processes to avoid regulatory setbacks.
Budget & Resource Optimization
• Monitor and control project expenditures, keeping costs within approved limits.
• Optimize resource allocation to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
• Conduct quality control assessments to guarantee work meets required standards and specifications.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
• Provide regular project updates to leadership, including the VP of Operations, General Manager, and CFO.
• Maintain open, transparent communication with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth decision-making.
Problem Solving & Contingency Planning
• Proactively address project challenges, including delays and unexpected issues.
• Develop and execute contingency plans to maintain project continuity.
Post-Project Transition & Support
• Ensure a seamless transition to the new facility with minimal business disruption.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance for post-move adjustments as needed.
What You Bring
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven track record as a Construction Project Manager, preferably within manufacturing facility projects.
