Commissary Clerk

Overview
We are looking for support team members to join our team within a correctional environment.

A portion of this position is located within a jail/correctional facility and would be working around inmates.

The Commissary Support Staff will assist in providing commissary operations and services to the warehouse and county jails located in Oklahoma.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Load orders at the Chickasha, Oklahoma warehouse and deliver orders to specified locations
• Unload and prepare orders at location for delivery to inmates
• Pass out and verify accuracy of individual orders
• Report and damaged or missing items to commissary supervisor
• Load totes and return to warehouse
• Maintain a relationship and act as a liaison between our company and the County Jail staff.
• Assist with picking orders and stocking at the warehouse on off days
• Maintain professional interactions with staff and customers
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels in professional manner
• Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
• Ability wo work well with ever changing priorities and/or situations
• Ability to work in a correctional environment
• Must be able to read & interpret customer orders
• Must be able to accurately count & record inventory
• Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license, clean and safe driving record, and able to safely operate a van or truck
• Able to legally work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
