Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our office operations and contribute to a positive work environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, proficiency in office management, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to:
- Provide support to the VP of Operations
- Maintain confidentiality and proprietary information
- Greet visitors and connect them with the right office personnel
- Schedule repairs for general office space and equipment
- Light cleaning duties (Throw away trash in the break room and kitchen)
- Retrieves and sorts mail including packages by department
- Help plan office activities (birthday lunches, etc)
- Run business errands (e.g., pickup business cards, food, etc for events)
- Monitor and order office and kitchen supplies
- Reception duties
- Organize, scan and file documents
- Schedule repairs and facilities maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in administrative support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly adaptable to change
- Helpful, efficient and proactive
- Working knowledge in MS Office especially Powerpoint
