The Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing safety, health and environmental compliance support to Producers Midstream’s natural gas pipeline network, gathering facilities and processing facilities. Position is responsible for compliance programs, procedures, policies, and recordkeeping associated with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed but not limited to the following:
- Manage regional health, safety and environmental program to ensure that employees comply with applicable Safety regulations, policies, procedures, plans, etc.
- Regular travel to plant sites for meetings, assessments and inspections.
- Manage incident reporting and follow up activities by preparing incident notifications and participating in incident investigation; ensure that incident investigations are completed by the deadline; be available 24/7 in the event of an emergency; occasional last-minute travel may be required in some situations
- Identify incident or industry trends and improvements to existing EHS Programs
- Review, revise, update and/or write technical documents related to the EHS Manual, procedures, plans, training materials, EHS Newsletters and other similar documents
- Conduct on-site facility audits to determine compliance and identify improvements to existing Safety and Environmental programs
- Identify, develop, coordinate and execute EHS related training. Ensure employees are compliant with training requirements; assist in implementation and management of Producers Midstream’s online training platform
- Maintain proper updates associated with Process Safety Management, Operator Qualification, Vehicle GPS Positioning Applications, etc.
- Review Contractor Safety Program for assigned area
- Coordinate, develop and participate in Producers Midstream’s safety-related committees and activities
- Manage area Hearing Protection Program/Evaluations
- Assist with Contractor OQ, Pipeline O&M, DOT Compliance, Security Plan, and Emergency Response activities
- Assist in implementing safety management system, for tracking incidents, safety observations, compliance and reporting
- Periodically travel to each asset; inspect facility equipment, operations, and maintenance processes for compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Review site-specific recordkeeping; ensure that all safety related action items are completed in a timely manner
- Coordinate regulatory inspections and audits.
- Aid in developing corporate EHS budget and efficiently track and manage dollars spent towards budget and other projects
- Assist with Worker’s Compensation claims and other issues
- Assist EHS due diligence associated with acquisitions
- Interact with all levels of employees and management within the company; local, state, and federal regulatory agencies; and consultants with self-confidence, poise, and professionalism
- Maintain and adhere to required trainings, policies, and procedures.
- Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives.
- Communicate with partnership control centers, business groups, and other operating groups as necessary.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Must maintain valid driver’s license in state of residency.
- Work assigned schedule and be available for overtime if needed.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
Knowledge of:
- Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook as well as other computer-based work training, Adobe, Google Earth time reporting, expense reporting, and on-line work applications and documentation.
- Working knowledge OSHA, EPA and DOT Regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal required
Ability to:
- Demonstrated self- starter with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, shift rotations, and perform call outs.
- React to high stress/emergency situations in a deliberate, thoughtful, and timely manner.

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, OSHA or related field or extensive equivalent experience.
- Minimum (2) years of experience with the applicable health and safety programs, environmental experience a plus
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably within natural gas midstream sector
