Description / Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule : Monday Friday 7 : 00a.m. 4 : 00p.m. overtime as needed including weekends.
Job Summary : Operate forklift to lift and take down packaged product on slip sheets and / or pallets. Inspect carriers (trucks boxcars) to ensure the carrier is safe clean and does not compromise product quality and / or safety. responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control. Maintaining quality product before during and after loading. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product. Responsible for completing and maintaining inspection of forklift (checking hoses working condition etc. daily) electronic scanning of product and sanitation records.
Basic Qualifications :
- Must possess basic math. (add subtract multiply and divide)
- Must be able to read speak write and understand English.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 4 feet.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 110 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
