Description / Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITVE POSITION
Schedule : 12 hour rotating swing shift (4 days 7 : 00a.m. to 7 : 00p.m. 4 days off 4 nights 7 : 00p.m. to 7 : 00a.m. 4 nights off) including overtime as needed.
Job Summary : Responsible for inspecting product according to specification documenting results of analysis and notifying supervisor and management of out of specification results. Will also collect inspect and grade samples according to physical appearance (defects) and perform moisture checks. Operate Electronic Sorting Machines (adjusting feed rates sensitivity of equipment) conduct milling yields and running lab millers. Will provide cleaning of sortex elevator boots and perform basic maintenance on machines during down time.
Basic Qualifications
- Must possess basic math skills. (add subtract multiply divide)
- Must be able to read speak write and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be able to climb up to 20 feet.
- Must be able to Lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.
