This position will supervise a team of in-store samplers that work in retail stores across a designated territory. This is a field based, retail focused, customer-centric position. Strong team building and development of direct reports is critical to success in this position. Scheduling, planning, and executing successful retail events is required; as well as relationship building with in-store retail management and internal support teams. Full-time salaried position managing a remote team of more than 50 individuals.
Responsibilities
Schedule team to execute events in assigned location
Hire, develop, retain team members to ensure on-date execution of events
Build relationships with store level team members
Collaborate across internal teams to effectively execute successful events
Travel – overnight as needed and up to one week at a time for special events
Daily travel across local territory locations Thursday - Saturdays
Qualifications
Experience: Management or Shift Lead Experience in retail, restaurant, or food industry
Proven track record of delivering consistent results
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Certificates: Food safety manager certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Physical Demands: Extensive walking and moderate lifting in a retail space
Multi-unit or remote team management highly preferred.
Work Environment
Homebased office and retail stores.
