Overview
The Retail Supervisor-Events is responsible for the management of effective, efficient and quality event execution in his/her markets. They are to audit, train and coach Brand Ambassadors on proper team compliance measurements to effectively represent the Product Connections Events team.
Responsibilities
- Schedule 100% of events in his/her area of coverage. Work fast on securing back-ups as needed.
- Finds the most appropriate BA to activate each job. To do this, the Retail Supervisor should consider:
- Distance: Schedules stores that are close to BA’s to create the most effective route.
- Talent: Assigns the best BA to each event, considering the complexity of the event, or any other talent requirement requested by client (such as language, specific skills, etc.).
- Event requirements: Makes sure BA’s have all supplies, kits, manuals and any other material necessary to perform their job.
- Make sure BA understands the job requirements, is prepared to do the job as required by client and follows Product Connections standards – including proper management of scheduling system and tools.
- Upload schedules to the Product Connections scheduling system, 1Hub, as required.
- Train BA’s on company processes, policies, procedures, and position responsibilities.
- Will be the point of contact for all events being conducted in the store. Assist Brand Ambassadors with event kits, materials and tools as needed.
- Reschedule events within the time window to optimize on-date, weekend, and overall execution results.
- Conduct audits and work with BAs to enhance event execution skills and ensure compliance with AB demos regulations.
- Monitor and manage expense metrics such as payroll time entries and additional expenses.
- Responsible for sharing competitive knowledge and best practices with team.
- Communicate effectively, develop and maintain a strong working relationship with field support, recruiting and client services.
- Collaborate with HR answering questions from your team such as event information, payroll questions, etc.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Associate Degree and/or Technical Diploma or one to two year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Ability to use and navigate company provided computer and mobile device applications and internal systems. Proficient skills with MS Office Suite programs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid driver’s license is required; A, eTips certification required within 30 days of employment if not already certified.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities with approximately 10 – 60 employees.
Work Environment: Retail Store environment. Travel to the designated markets is required.
Physical Demands: The associate will be regularly required to: Stand; Walk; Use hands and fingers to handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms (including reaching overhead); Talk and hear; Visual ability to read instructions and perform events; Stoop; Kneel; Crouch; Climb (including use of a 6’ ladder); Balance; Lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds) (including some demos that require frequent lifting 50 pounds); Push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product; Prepare foods and beverages using the required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves. Be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
