What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Product Quality Management, LLC.?
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to safely perform laboratory analyses and reporting on various products, including crude oil, fuel oils, middle distillates, petroleum, petrochemicals, LPG, LSNG gases, and lubricants. This role plays a key part in supporting the Natural Resources, Industrial, and Environmental sectors by ensuring quality and compliance through precise testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform hands-on laboratory analyses and testing of petroleum and petrochemical products.
• Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory reports.
• Stay up to date with laboratory testing methods, safety protocols, and reporting standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas and procedures.
• Follow internal quality control policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive work environment.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Associate’s Degree in a science-related field (Preferred).
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience (Preferred).
Skills & Abilities:
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work in a structured, high-volume environment.
• Comfortable standing for long periods during shift work.
• Ability to interpret various forms of instructions, including written, oral, diagrams, and schedules.
• Must be able to safely handle chemicals, petrochemicals, and petroleum products.
