- Clean Cable equipment after check in when returned; inspect new equipment upon delivery
- Test basic audio/video Cable when it comes in to the warehouse, including new and returned.
- Organize and store all tested Cable.
- Ensure all Cable is in top cosmetic shape
- Identifies Cable that requires further inspection or repair, and moves that Cable to a Technician II or Technician III
- Work cooperatively within a team and with other departments
- Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Initiate damage and lost items reporting to supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Minimum of five years of experience in one of the following disciplines lighting, video, rigging, and/or logistics.
- High School Diploma or its' equivalent
- Trade show, technical school, or post High School training in an appropriate field may be substituted in whole or in part for the experience requirement above.
- Strong customer service with ability to self-manage
- Excellent knowledge of the technical principles of operation and maintenance of the electronic equipment to which the incumbent is assigned
- Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of workplace safety
- Excellent understanding of equipment within department as well as an understanding of how equipment integrates with the entire show
- Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems
- Excellent or working knowledge of common computer productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office; the ability to learn and utilize PRG proprietary software
- Excellent knowledge of safe motor vehicle operation and current licensing appropriate to the vehicle(s) operated (clean driving record or need not apply)
- Customer service orientation; tact; professionalism
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position; must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
