Technician- Technical Infrastructure-Cables

• Clean Cable equipment after check in when returned; inspect new equipment upon delivery
• Test basic audio/video Cable when it comes in to the warehouse, including new and returned.
• Organize and store all tested Cable.
• Ensure all Cable is in top cosmetic shape
• Identifies Cable that requires further inspection or repair, and moves that Cable to a Technician II or Technician III
• Work cooperatively within a team and with other departments
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Initiate damage and lost items reporting to supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Minimum of five years of experience in one of the following disciplines lighting, video, rigging, and/or logistics. 
• High School Diploma or its' equivalent
• Trade show, technical school, or post High School training in an appropriate field may be substituted in whole or in part for the experience requirement above.
• Strong customer service with ability to self-manage
• Excellent knowledge of the technical principles of operation and maintenance of the electronic equipment to which the incumbent is assigned
• Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of workplace safety
• Excellent understanding of equipment within department as well as an understanding of how equipment integrates with the entire show
• Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems
• Excellent or working knowledge of common computer productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office; the ability to learn and utilize PRG proprietary software
• Excellent knowledge of safe motor vehicle operation and current licensing appropriate to the vehicle(s) operated (clean driving record or need not apply)
• Customer service orientation; tact; professionalism
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position; must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  
  
  

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $19.00 -$21.00 per hour. Actual rate to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant combined with location and alignment with market data.
