Job Summary
PSU, Inc services adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee our mobile lawn crew. Our lawn crew consists of about 5 of our clients receiving one of our employment services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves supervising adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring high-quality lawn care, and managing various landscaping tasks (Cut, Trim, & Blow) to meet client expectations.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of adults with developmental disabilities in daily operations.
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, and blowing.
- Ensure proper groundskeeping practices are followed for optimal lawn health.
- Coordinate and execute lawn care tasks
- Train incoming and current crew members on best practices in lawn care, landscaping techniques, and safety.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide updates on progress.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and lawn care practices.
- Strong ability to lead a team effectively.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years old or older
- Ability to drive a truck with trailer attached, preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required. Will Train
