What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at Production Systems Automation?

Job Description

Salary :

Essential Job Functions

Be part of a customer oriented and profit minded service team
Troubleshoot electric and mechanical machine (Servos drive, PLC controls, etc)
Perform on site repairs, preventative maintenance service and operator training
Cooperate with other service technicians and subcontractors
Help manage in-house rebuilds and repairs at our facility
Process and manage expense reports, job reports and return receipts in a timely manner

Essential Job Requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent experience in electrical and mechanical machine-tool service

Must be able to read and work with electrical schematics and assembly drawings

Understanding of machine tool guide ways, slide and spindle motors

Proficient knowledge of servo drive, PLC controls and general machine tool electronics

Proficient computer skills and understanding of mobile device business applications

Must be in good physical shape and able to work in non-climate controlled areas

Must have good communication skills in working with customers and other employees

A valid drivers license and safe driving history
