ProductionHUB is hiring: Director of Broadcast Operations in High Point

High Point University’s Athletic department, located in North Carolina, is seeking a high-energy, creative candidate to join the HPU staff as the Director of Broadcast Operations. This position will oversee all broadcast operations and reports directly to the Senior Director of Communications / Creative Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Oversees all operational aspects of game broadcasts and other productions.
• Manages and troubleshoots technical needs of the production's unit, including but not limited to cameras, graphics and replay equipment, switchers, audio, video boards, and radio.
• Serves as producer / director / engineer for home live streaming broadcasts and home game video board shows.
• Coordinates talent and production staff for ESPN streams and video board shows.
• Manages pre-approved production control room & facility enhancements related to broadcast operations.
• Maintains video equipment and facilities.
• Manages operational budget.
• Serves as liaison, resource, and Staff Advisor for HPU SportsLink.
• Serves as liaison with university video, communication, and operations department units.
• Serves as liaison with Big South Conference & ESPN.
• Strategically plans to meet future needs of video operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
