Summary
The Administrative Clerk is responsible for processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date data in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). They improve efficiency by maintaining real-time records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy. This support aids in effective decision-making, contributes to overall operational efficiency, success, and the delivery of innovative business process solutions to our clients by applying lean manufacturing principles
Responsibilities
· Verify all incoming shipments are an accurate comparison of the carrier’s freight bills/Bill of Lading(BOL) and ensure all goods are in acceptable condition.
· Identify discrepancies and escalate product shortages or overages when discovered to management and/or supervisors, denoting found discrepancies on the BOL.
· Systematic receiving into ERP and WMS systems.
· Prepare detailed and accurate BOL’s to accompany shipments and ensure all items are picked and shipped accurately to company standards.
· Work with other department clerks to ensure that all shipments are handled promptly, and inventory is accurately maintained.
· Maintain accurate record keeping of all systematic transactions.
· Maintain spreadsheets.
· Analyze data for historical trends.
· Practice Customer service skills when interacting with the client and vendors.
· Perform Cycle Counts as required.
· Assist others when applicable.
. Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year Warehouse Experience
- Experience working in a continuous improvement-oriented culture.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- PC proficient using a database and MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Effective problem analysis and problem resolution skills required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
