We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. The Day Service Manager is responsible to supervise the day-to-day operation. To assist in the planning, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of those served and staff in development and implementation of the agency’s policies, procedures and the client’s Coordinated Services and Support Plan (CSSP). Assist in the delivery of recreational and community integrated activities for individuals. Must ensure the highest quality of service is provided to those we serve: families, customers, vendors, and staff. Perform all functions of the position in a timely and efficient manner. Provide coaching and direction to assigned staff and volunteers. Responsible for the overseeing of the Day Services program, community, and recreational activities, willing to do hands-on-duties, willing to attend continuing training classes and share your gained knowledge from continuing education with appropriate staff, keep current with the industry trends, laws, and regulations, provide superior customer service, be a team player, will be a mandated reporter, and function in a timely and efficient manner. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Service or related field. Experience: Three to five years of experience in the human services system. Extensive experience in human service field may be in lieu of education requirements. Supervisory experience necessary. Skills and Abilities: Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have good written and oral communication skills. Ability to build and develop relationships through excellent customer service skills, must be a team player, have good organization skills, supervisory skills, and be a self-starter. Will be conducting a MVR and a background check for anyone accepting the position. If the checks result in an unsatisfactory report the offer of employment will be rescinded. The ability to endure the physical demands of the position. Lifting 50# or more. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
