Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Peoria, Illinois - Full Time
Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Peoria, IL. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be aSenior Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for new product development, problem solving and exceeding expectations.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with theopportunityof professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties :
- Participate in the new product development process, including inception, feasibility, project planning, detailed design, manufacturing, field implementation, testing, product launch, and field problem resolution.
- Design new solutions for customer projects.
- Modify and improve upon existing designs.
- Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Participate in brainstorming and concepting sessions.
- Work independently and as part of the Automation or Loadout Solutions team.
- Write detailed reports.
