Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Hesston, Kansas. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team in Hesston, Kansas. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for crafting dies and metal tools used in our manufacturing process. This role requires a deep understanding of metalworking, engineering, and design. You will work with blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings to create precision tools and dies that meet the required specifications. If you are detail-oriented, have strong technical skills, and enjoy solving challenges, we would love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with theopportunityof professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties :

• Read and interpret blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings to create accurate tools and dies.
• Visualize and compute metal shapes and tolerances, design jigs and templates as work aids for fabrication.
• Set up and operate machine tools (drills, lathes, grinders, milling machines) to cut and shape blocks to specified dimensions.
• Fill, grind, and shim metals to ensure a smooth finish and proper function.
• Assemble and fit die and tool parts, ensuring all components work seamlessly together.
• Inspect finished tools and dies for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities. Conduct test runs to ensure quality and performance.
