Validation Engineer
Urbandale, Iowa - Full Time
Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Urbandale, IA or Remote. As a member of our team, the selected candidate willperform basic product design, testing and / or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operate in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develop recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.
This full-time position is indefinite in duration with theopportunityof professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties :
- Work directly with customers who grow high-value crops (e.g., bedded crops, vines, trees) to understand how John Deere's technology helps them achieve higher productivity and profitability.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, understanding their needs and challenges while providing regular updates on product progress and validation efforts.
- Install and configure hardware and software on John Deere equipment to enable field testing of new technology solutions.
- Conduct hands-on validation of technology systems and document what's working and what needs improvement.
- Use customer feedback to provide detailed documentation of product performance and identify areas for further enhancement.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and the user experience team to enable and validate new technology solutions for customers.
- Coordinate with field testing teams to evaluate new hardware and provide feedback from real-world customer environments.
- Create and maintain detailed records of field-testing results, documenting both successes and areas needing improvement.
- Maintain regular communication with customers via phone, video calls, emails, surveys, and in-person visits to understand their needs and share progress updates.
