CNC Technical Parts Support

We are looking for a customer-service-oriented person with technical parts experience to join our Service Team.
Role Overview:
In this critical role, you will provide accurate and timely technical parts support to the field service staff and our customers for all machine lines.
- Communicate with field technicians on the status of parts orders.
- Communicate with field technicians and customers to identify parts by researching drawings, parts books, databases, catalogs, and other available resources for accurate part identification.
- Contact vendors to identify and/or validate part definition, price & availability.
- Enter stock and vendor parts orders. Create parts purchase orders and submit to vendor.
- Communicate with customer regarding pricing, delivery & purchase requirements, and obtain customer purchase orders.
- Provide technical parts support for other departments, i.e., Applications Engineering, Tooling, etc.
- Provide phone support for the service parts queue as needed.
- Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required by the position.
What We Look For:
- One years of experience in maintenance/repair of electrical and mechanical systems. CNC repair experience helpful.
- Degree/certificate in related field; Mechatronics, electrical/mechanical or electronics, Automation Technology, Automated Machinery Systems, Robotics, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to organize and track numerous details and projects.
- Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with internal and external customers.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Ability to investigate through research and conversation and resolve problems or questions.
- Solid computer knowledge and data entry skills.
