Only W2 and 1099
Experience - 15 yrs.
Job Description:
Must have 15 years of U.S.A work experience. Communication: Must have great communication skills to interact with leaders.. Hours/Time Zone: Must be able to work 8 am CST 5 pm CST! (CST & EST candidates only)
Travel: Must be able to travel 1 week to Client Headquartered in Dallas to work onsite. This could be quarterly or monthly depending on the manager. (Expenses paid by Client) 2025 travel weeks: (Travel in Mon; in-office Tues, Wed, Thurs) February 24-28 June 16-20 October 6-10 PI Planning weeks.
Environment: Agile/Scrum/2-week sprints; Daily Video conference meetings Interview Process: multi-step process all via
About the team and role: A growing team working on backend services Moving off existing services to an Integration platform Internal application running on desktop Currently supporting 6 commercial projects Timelines pushed so needing help to fast track all the work. On prem/CICD/Cloud AWS/Step Functions/API gateway Team is backend Java Cloud AWS Seeking good learners and culture fit 15 years of experience Successful candidate: 15 years of experience Heavy back-end focus (service to service integration components) Tactical Can get the work done; full lifecycle development experience Cloud Development skills Able to write code daily Able to tackle ongoing production support Can Educate New-to-AWS Technologists in best practices Can work with unclear requirements Very self-sufficient to a high degree, can work on their own Quick learner and problem solver Able to dig in and learn environment quickly Fun, positive attitude Fits team culture and personality Leadership skills
Required Skills: Extensive AWS Cloud development experience Prior Java Backend Development/ Microservices and Spring boot Lambda / Python Serverless Development Understanding of API specs and design principles API Gateway Step Functions Lambda creation experience Kafka Relational Databases i.e. SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Document DB ETL Building (Extract, Transform, and Load) Experience Git for Source / Version Control of the code Build Tooling- Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker Huge plus skill: logging and monitoring in the cloud.
