Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Salesforce to join our growing team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications through the design, implementation, and execution of automated tests. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design test plans, and contribute to improving our overall testing process and product quality.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, focusing on functional, regression, and integration testing.
Design and maintain test frameworks for testing Salesforce applications (using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation tools).
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure they are testable.
Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce environments, including integrations with third-party applications and APIs.
Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce configurations, including but not limited to custom objects, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, workflows, and process builder.
Implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous testing strategies to ensure seamless test execution.
Report defects and issues found during testing, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
Maintain test automation scripts and frameworks for reusability and efficiency.
Stay updated on new features and updates in Salesforce to optimize testing strategies and methods.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in QA Automation with hands-on experience in Salesforce platforms.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
Familiarity with Salesforce testing best practices, including test case management, defect tracking, and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA).
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and best practices for test automation.
Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems and performing integration testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer or Salesforce Certified Administrator, are a plus.
Familiarity with Salesforce DX and testing tools like Provar or Sahi.
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
