Role Overview:
Prodware is seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in SAP Fiori UI5 development and expertise in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to large-scale SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, focusing on SAP ABAP, Fiori, OData services, and various integration development tasks. The ideal candidate should possess 6-8 years of experience with SAP ABAP development, including hands-on work with SAP HANA, CDS Views, BAPIs, OData, and integration into OTC processes.
Prodware is seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in SAP Fiori UI5 development and expertise in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to large-scale SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, focusing on SAP ABAP, Fiori, OData services, and various integration development tasks. The ideal candidate should possess 6-8 years of experience with SAP ABAP development, including hands-on work with SAP HANA, CDS Views, BAPIs, OData, and integration into OTC processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SAP solutions for Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Management, and Customer Master Data.
- Participate in the design and development of integrations between SAP and other systems, ensuring seamless connectivity for OTC processes.
- Implement standard OData Services for OTC processes such as C_SalesOrder, C_SalesOrderItem, and integrate them with other applications.
- Utilize and develop BAPIs relevant to OTC, such as BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE.
- Conduct GAP analysis and collaborate with functional teams to design solutions for business requirements.
- Perform ABAP development tasks in support of the business request to improve or enhance existing SAP systems, specifically HANA/ABAP in OTC scenarios.
- Design and implement standard and custom CDS Views for the OTC process (e.g., SO_ORDER_HEADER, SO_ORDER_ITEM) using SQL and AMDP.
- Participate in SAP S/4 HANA migration initiatives, with knowledge of BTP integration and RAP programming models.
- Create technical designs and ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core principles, providing best practice solutions for SAP S/4 HANA.
- Handle complex debugging tasks, including ABAP debugging, workflow issues, and custom developments in SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional teams to support testing activities (Functional Unit Test, Integration Testing, etc.), and assist with bug fixing as needed.
- Provide work estimates, update ADO tools for reporting, and track RICEFW status and dates.
- Perform code reviews based on S/4 HANA coding standards and ensure the quality and maintainability of the code.
- Leverage SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Business Application Studio, and other SAP technologies as needed to enhance development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on OTC processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in SAP ABAP programming (Core ABAP, OData, CDS Views, AMDP).
- Experience with SAP Fiori UI5 development and implementation.
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and SAP Fiori integrations.
- Strong experience with BAPIs related to OTC processes, such as BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE.
- Experience with SAP HANA migration, custom code remediation, and Clean Core framework.
- Solid understanding of SAP integration technologies such as ALE, IDOCs, RFC, BAPI, and LSMW.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, ABAP Core Data Services, and external views.
- Familiarity with SAP's 3-Tier Extensibility Model, RAP programming, and Cloud Application Programming (CAP) models.
- Ability to create and enhance standard CDS views and AMDP classes based on business requirements.
- Proficiency with SAP Workflow, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Competencies:

- Ability to suggest and implement alternate technical designs in line with best practices.

- Relevant SAP technical certifications are a plus.
Education:
- A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
